A story rooted in Dakar, Paris, and New York
The story of KOCH B began in the early 2000s in Dakar. As early as 2004, the brand's approach caught the attention of the international press, notably the New York Times, which dedicated an article to this unique approach: using woodworking and West African craftsmanship to add depth and personality to contemporary spaces.
Over the years, KOCH B has built a bridge between Senegal, France, and the United States. By establishing offices in Paris and New York, the house has allowed its custom creations to interact with various interior architectures, from Haussmannian apartments to American lofts.
The vision: the rigor of Made in Senegal
At the heart of the KOCH B project is a simple conviction: to enhance Senegalese know-how through demanding manufacturing standards.
Rather than importing prefabricated elements, KOCH B's workshops rely on local and sub-regional resources. The work is based on:

The selection of wood species: particular attention is paid to local and regional solid woods, chosen for their density, durability, and aesthetics.

2026: A new chapter
In 2026, KOCH B marks its return with the opening of a showroom in Saly and the presentation of new furniture pieces.
This step is a continuation of its journey: strengthening the structuring of its workshops in Dakar, developing new material associations, and continuing to disseminate Senegalese design.
